Important Added Info: Note that we have only previously auctioned three examples of this window card, and only one in the last 9 years! What IS linenbacking? Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good to very good. The window card was originally on a heavy paper stock, and the restorer took off the top layer and discarded the back portion (this is often done with linenbacking thick window cards). The window card had creases, tears, and some stains around the edges, with some smudges and stains scattered throughout the image. Overall, the poster was in good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was pretty well backed, but you can see signs of the above defects and the restoration of the above defects. Learn More about condition grades
