An Original Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked Six-Sheet Movie Poster (measures 41" x 53 1/4") (Learn More) Arizona Bound (also released as "Rough Riders"), the 1941 Spencer Gordon Bennet action adventure cowboy western (first of the Monogram "Rough Riders" movies) starring The Rough Riders (Buck Jones, Tim McCoy, and Raymond Hatton), Luana Walters, Dennis Moore, Kathryn Sheldon, and Tristram Coffin. Note that Buck Jones' white horse was named Silver (just like The Lone Ranger's later on!), and Silver made 73 movies with Buck Jones from 1922 until Jones' death in 1942 in the tragic Cocoanut Grove fire. But oddly, Silver was almost never billed on the posters for Buck Jones' movies as so many other famous horses (most especially Tom Mix's Tony) were! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Our consignor had one of the four pieces of this six-sheet, and since it showed artwork of Buck Jones with two horses, plus additional artwork of Jones, McCoy, and Hatton, the consignor chose to have it mounted onto a piece of linen and displayed it in his house.
