Some of her movies include: Gentleman's Agreement (nominated for the Best Actress Academy Award for this film), The Enchanted Cottage, A Tree Grows in Brooklyn, and Old Yeller (as the mother). She passed away in 2001 at the age of 85. Important Added Info: Note that this photo has been personally autographed (signed) by Dorothy McGuire (she also signed for her dog, Marco Polo!). Also note that this photo measures 5" x 7" [13 x 18 cm]. Note that this item was consigned to us by a man who has been a major movie memorabilia dealer for many years. During that time, he would regularly purchase collections of movie memorabilia from both collectors and people who worked on movies, and in some of those collections he purchased many autographed items, and sometimes he met with celebrities and had them autograph items he owned in person. Both we and our consignor feel it is extremely likely that the autograph on this item is authentic, but he does not have a certificate of authenticity. Condition: very good.
