Straight-Jacket, the 1964 William Castle axe-murder horror thriller ("Warning! 'Strait-Jacket' vividly depicts ax murders!"; "From the creator of 'Psycho' and the director of 'Homicidal' and the co-star of 'What Ever Happened To Baby Jane?'"; "Her husband... her bed.. another woman... and the shiny ax... so close...! So close!") starring Joan Crawford (it is jarring to see this great 1920s to 1950s actress wielding an axe on all the poster art!), Diane Baker, Leif Erickson, Howard St. John, John Anthony Hayes, and Rochelle Hudson

Important Added Info: Note that this is a very unusual pressbook, because it is printed on a single 30" x 40" sheet, and then folded twice (like many promotional brochures we have seen). It opens twice to reveal larger images, but we are sure it is a pressbook, due to the content.

Note that we have provided an image of the front and back covers of this pressbook (if the back cover is not the poster page, we photographed the interior poster page), and of course, the winner of this auction will receive the entire single pressbook we are auctioning (plus any supplements or heralds described above)! Also note that this pressbook is complete and uncut! Given that theater owners received pressbooks partly in order to create their newspaper advertising, and quite frequently cut them up for that purpose, it is rare to find a pressbook that IS complete and uncut!
