What IS linenbacking? Learn More

Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good. The poster had tears and areas of paper loss scattered down the center and some on parts of the horizontal folds. There were pinholes, tears, and paper loss around the edges of the poster. Overall, the poster was in fair to good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was pretty well backed and displays pretty well, but the restorer chose to airbrush all of the blank borders and all of the white and yellow background areas, as well as the red letters of the title, to "even them out", so bear that in mind before bidding on this poster.
