Strayer United States Marine Corps (USMC) military romantic melodrama (about a poor man who joins the Marines, and quickly angers a general for kissing his daughter, but the Marine later rescues the general's daughter from bandits and everything ends well) starring Richard Dix (in the title role as Michael Moran), Ruth Elder, Roscoe Karns, Brooks Benedict, and E.H. Calvert. Note that this is a "lost" film, which means that no surviving copies are thought to exist. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that we have previously auctioned eight lobby cards from this movie, but we have NEVER auctioned this title card! Also note that this lobby card has been trimmed and it now measures 10 3/4" x 14" [27 x 36 cm]. Also note that we have a scan of both the front and the back of this lobby card, which should greatly help you see what defects it has. Condition: good to very good. Part of the top blank border was neatly trimmed off, and only blank white paper was affected. There is a tiny tear in the right of the bottom blank border that was repaired with tape from the back, and there are a few faint smudges around the edges. Otherwise, the card is in nice condition!
