He was a six-time Grammy Award winner and three-time Academy Award winner, and composed hundreds of pop sings from the late 1950s through the 1980s. He is considered one of the most important composers of 20th-century popular music. Some of his works include: This Guy's In Love With You, Rain Drops Keep Fallin' On My Head, and That's What Friends Are For. He passed away in 2023 at the age of 94. Important Added Info: Note that this item, which is solely the cover of a souvenir program book from one of Mr. Bachrach's concerts, has been personally autographed (signed) by Burt Bacharach! Our consignor is a longtime dealer who acquired this signed item among many other purchases in his inventory, and he does not have a certificate of authenticity, but we believe the signature to likely be authentic. As is true of all the signed items we are currently auctioning, we give every buyer 30 days in which to review what they purchased (although we prefer they do any "authenticating" while the auction is "live" and before they place a bid) and they can return any item as long as it is within 30 days of the end of the auction.
