McLeod cruise-ship-stowaway seafaring slapstick comedy ("The Four Marx Brothers"; about the four brothers stowing away on a transatlantic cruise ship; concepts from this movie were reused in A Night at the Opera and Room Service) starring the Marx Brothers (Groucho Marx, Harpo Marx, Chico Marx, and Zeppo Marx), Rockliffe Fellowes, Harry Woods, Thelma Todd, Ruth Hall, and Billy Barty NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that this half-sheet, which we have never seen or heard of before, has a wonderful image of all four Marx Brothers, but sadly, the theater that used the poster re-used it when they were showing another Marx Brothers movie, and they trimmed off the bottom area that had the title of the movie. But the actors with the Marx Brothers prove that this is surely from Monkey Business! Also note that this half-sheet has been heavily trimmed and it now measures 17 1/2" x 27 3/4" [44 x 70 cm]. Condition: poor. The poster was never folded, but is quite fragile and there are tears in the upper left and upper right. The bottom 5 1/2" of the poster (with the title) has been trimmed off, and there was trimmed around the other edges of the poster, as seen in our image. If one could locate an image of the complete poster, one could completely restore it, but even if it can't be located, then a talented restorer could re-create solely the missing bits from the top left and top right, and leave the bottom as it is (perhaps adding a blank border to that area), and it would be a great image of the four Marx Brothers! Please do not bid on this poster unless you can accept its defects described above or are willing to pay to have them properly restored! Learn More about condition grades
