Note that John Kitzmiller was a black African American who served in Italy in World War II, and he decided to stay there after the war, and he appeared in around 50 Italian movies! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Condition: fair. This poster has been linenbacked, but it was not very well done. Overall, the poster was in fair condition prior to linenbacking. There is paper loss at center and around the edges of the poster. There are several tack holes around the edges of the poster with tears from rough removal. There were creases and scuffs throughout the poster. The poster was not well backed at all, because you can still see some or all of the defects generally described above (in some cases, as should be immediately evident in our image, the linenbacker did no restoration to some of the defects), and if there was restoration of the above defects, it was not done very well. After the poster was backed it was roughly handled and there are vertical creases at lower center. Certainly, a talented restorer could perform additional restoration, but it might be fairly expensive to have this done, so bear that in mind before you place a bid! Learn More about condition grades
