Not since 'King Kong' anything like it! Beast from Outerspace unleashed on Earth! Whole cities leveled as Monster doubles in size... every night! World-wide havoc! All Mankind threatened!"; "Terror from outer space!"; "Story by Charlott Knight") starring William Hopper, Joan Taylor, Frank Puglia, John Zaremba, Thomas Browne Henry, and Sid Cassel. Note that the producers of the movie wanted to keep the appearance of the monster (called the Ymir) semi-secret, so the posters for this movie only show a small portion of the Ymir! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that this Fantasy #9 lobby card has been personally autographed (signed) by Ray Harryhausen! Our consignor is a longtime collector who received this signed item from his friend and longtime collector, Tim Cole, who was personal friends with Mr. Harryhausen. He does not have a certificate of authenticity, but we are certain the signature is authentic. Note that around 1990 or so, a fan created a series of "Fantasy #9" lobby cards, which were reproduction cards from great 1950s sci-fi movies showing a large image of the title monster (they made these cards by combining an existing lobby card with a great 8x10 color still!). Most sets from 1950s sci-fi monster movies did not include a great card, and some did not have any cards showing the monster! These "Fantasy #9" cards look just like originals, except they are extremely glossy on front and back, and of course, THERE NEVER WERE ORIGINAL CARDS THAT LOOKED LIKE THESE! These "Fantasy #9" cards look just like originals, except they are extremely glossy on front and back. I believe they sold for $25 each when they were first created, and have been sold out for many years, and have been auctioning far more than they originally sold for!
