An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 27" x 41" [69 x 104 cm]) (Learn More)

The Getaway, the classic 1972 Sam Peckinpah romantic crime action thriller ("Screenplay by Walter Hill"; "From the novel by Jim Thompson") starring Steve McQueen (as Doc McCoy), Ali MacGraw (as Carol McCoy), Ben Johnson (as Jack Beynon), Al Lettieri (as Rudy Butler), Sally Struthers ("as Fran"), Slim Pickens, Jack Dodson, Dub Taylor, and Bo Hopkins. Note that the source novel of this movie was pretty "unfilmable" as written (especially the ending!), but Walter Hill did an excellent job adapting it, and while it is not the same story, it is in many ways faithful to the original, and it is certainly one of the best movies of its kind ever made!

If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know.

Condition: good to very good. The poster has pinholes and compression marks in portions of the edges. It has light oval-shaped creases in the vertical foldline (especially at bottom but they are caused by the machine folding process itself so they are not a defect). It is otherwise in pretty nice condition and after a simple linenbacking the poster will look great!
