H.M.S. Coventry Replacement Appeal, the 1942 English World War II (WWII) poster promoting a fundraising event to take place from November 14th to the 28th. The funds were being raised to replace the H.M.S. Coventry light cruiser which had been sunk in the Mediterranean by German divebombers. This poster features art of warships at sea by Norman Wilkinson

Condition: fair to good. There is an uneven tear at upper left that has been repaired with tape from the back and the tape now bleeds through to the front. There is a snipe across the bottom blank area of the poster (it appears that the poster was made so it could be used for more than one fund-raising campaign). There are many creases and smudges throughout the poster.
