Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Title Lobby Card (measures 11" x 14") (Learn More) The Creature Walks Among Us, the 1956 John Sherwood Universal science fiction (sci-fi) underwater sea monster horror thriller sequel ("Beauty and the man-beast from a lost world!"; "Terror runs rampant on the city streets... as the Monster strikes Again!"; "A city screams in terror!"; "All new underwater thrills!"; "Half monster! ...half man! A clutching claw at the heart of civilization!"; "Science baits his fury with a woman's beauty!"; "No chains can hold the power of his passions!"; "Terror stalks the city's streets!!"; "Half monster! Half man! On a rampage of revenge!"; "Story and Screenplay by Arthur Ross"; set in The Florida Everglades and San Francisco!) starring Jeff Morrow, Rex Reason, Leigh Snowden, Gregg Palmer, Maurice Manson, Ricou Browning (who played the monster underwater), and Don Megowan (who played the monster on land). Note that, in this film, scientists transport the creature from the Everglades in Florida to San Francisco, California! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that this lobby card is part of an amazing collection of 132 horror/sci-fi lobby cards (our items #5040 through #5171). Included are 121 title cards from 1950 to 1964, including just about every horror/sci-fi movie made during that period, including all of the most famous titles! Also included is all seven scene cards from "The Day the Earth Stood Still", and a great scene card from "House of Wax". The collector who assembled this collection did so over a span of several decades, and to duplicate it would surely take at least that long, if one started today. But on October 30th, every one of these lobby cards will go to a new owner, as all are being sold with NO reserve. Also note that we have listed these lobby cards in strict alphabetical order. This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to acquire rare lobby cards that almost never are offered for sale! Condition: very good. marker writing on the back of the card that bleeds through EXTREMELY slightly in the lower left credits area; faint brown stains in the tagline at left as well as some around the edges of the card in the blank borders; small area of smudges in the lower right corner of the card from removal of a stamp; tiny area of paper loss in the left edge (see the image below) as well as some surface paper loss in the lower right edge and a tiny tear in the upper center edge of the card. This card is in better condition than the above makes it sound! Its defects are basically minor and barely noticeable from any distance away.
