An Autographed Color 8" x 10" [20 x 25 cm] REPRODUCTION Still (Learn More) Barbara Steele is an English actress from the 1950s to the 2000s. Surprisingly, she was initially signed to a contract by 20th Century-Fox in Hollywood, but they didn't find the right movie to put her in, and fortunately for her, she took a trip to Italy in early 1960, and hit gold with the starring role in "Black Sunday" (La Maschera del Demonio). She then returned to the U.S. and she was cast opposite Elvis Presley in "Flaming Star", with dyed blonde hair, but sadly, she did not end up with that part (although publicity photos of her were created, Barbara Eden ended up playing the role). Some of her other movies include: Caged Heat, She Beast, and Pit and the Pendulum. As of 2021, she is still alive at the age of 83! Important Added Info: Note that this REPRODUCTION still has been personally autographed (signed) by Barbara Steele! Note that our consignor is a major horror collector who for 20 years has attended the major shows that are attended by celebrities who give autographs, including Chiller Theater, Fanex, and Monster Mania. He obtained this autograph in person at a show (we are also auctioning quite a few autographs from this same collection in separate auctions). Condition: very good to fine.
