An Original Vintage Linenbacked Italian Advertising Poster (printed in Spanish in Italy; measures 26" x 40 3/4" [66 x 104 cm]) (Learn More)

Emulsion de Scott de Aceite Puro de Higado de Bacalao, the circa 1930s Italian poster (printed in Spanish) advertising Scott's Emulsion of Cod Liver Oil (this brand is now owned by GlaxoSmithKline!). This poster features a great stone litho of a fisherman carrying a giant cod fish on his back. If anyone knows more about this poster, please email us and we will post it here.

Important Added Info: Note that this poster was printed in Italy for use in Spanish speaking countries.

Condition: very good to fine. The poster was never folded. There were a few minor scuffs marks around the edges of the image and in the borders (and one scuff mark in the center of the top border that extends into the excess linen. Overall, the poster was in very good to fine condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was nicely backed, and displays well!
