Glamour!"; based on the classic book of the same name by L. Note that MGM was worried about how well this movie would do at the box office, and they did something we don't remember seeing on any other major movie advertising! One of the taglines says "Biggest sensation since Snow White", which means MGM was advertising a Walt Disney movie, but that shows just how worried they were! Of course, they needn't have worried, because this was a timeless classic that has only improved with age. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that we only once before auctioned an example of this poster (we actually auctioned the same poster two times, because it was re-consigned to us), and that example of the poster was printed on the back of a different poster (apparently caused by a paper shortage in Yugoslavia). However, this example of the poster is NOT printed on the back of another poster, which is, of course, superior, since it doesn't have any bleed-through issues. What IS linenbacking? Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: very good. The poster had tiny paper loss at the crossfolds and minor fold wear. It had a pinhole in each corner, with a tear in the top right corner, caused by rough removal of the pin. Overall, the poster was in very good condition prior to linenbacking.
