Seiter silent England/India ocean voyage romantic love triangle melodrama ("From the novel 'Ann's An Idiot' by Pamela Wynne"; about a teenage girl who takes an ocean voyage from Liverpool to Bombay, and on the trip, she falls in love with a Naval officer, not realizing he once had a relationship with her mother; she is "compromised" by another passenger, and the Naval officer offers to marry her, but the man who seduced her tells her that the officer had an affair with her mother, so she breaks off the engagement; when they arrive in India, the Naval officer beats up the cad and forces him to confess to the girl that his relationship with the mother was solely platonic, and they return to the ship, where they are married by the ship's captain) starring Laura La Plante, Eugene O'Brien, Jean Hersholt, Alfred Allen, and Milla Davenport NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography.
