An Autographed 3" x 5" [8 x 13 cm] Index Card (Learn More) Audrey Meadows was an actress from the 1950s to the 1990s. Publicity on her in the 1940s said that she was born and brought up in Wuchang, China, and spoke no English until she returned to the U.S. as a young girl (that was slightly stretching the truth, because she was born in the U.S., but her parents moved to China soon after, and they left China when the Communists took over)! She is best remembered as Alice Kramden from TV's "The Honeymooners". Some of her movies include: Rosie, Take Her She's Mine, and That Touch of Mink. She passed away in 1996 at the age of 73. Important Added Info: This index card has been personally autographed (signed) by Audrey Meadows! The index card could be matted with a vintage or repro still and framed together to make a cool display! Our consignor is a longtime collector and dealer. In the 1970s and 1980s, he wrote to stars and asked for autographed photos and index cards, and he also sometimes purchased signed items from other dealers. He does not have a certificate of authenticity for this item, but we believe the signature to likely be authentic. As is true of all the signed items we are currently auctioning, we give every buyer 30 days in which to review what they purchased and they can return any item as long as it is within 30 days of the end of the auction.
