Original Vintage Theatrical Tri-Folded Swedish Movie Poster (measures 26 1/2" x 39 1/4") (Learn More) We Live Again, the 1934 Rouben Mamoulian Russia nobility romantic courtroom legal lawyer crime melodrama ("From the novel 'Resurrection' by Leo Tolstoy"; about a Russian nobleman who is serving on a jury, and the accused, a beautiful young woman, is someone he once seduced and abandoned, and he feels responsible and sets out to improve her life, and he greatly improves his own in the process) starring Anna Sten, Fredric March, Jane Baxter, C. Aubrey Smith, Sam Jaffe, and Ethel Griffies. Note that star Anna Sten was half Russian and half Swedish, and Samuel Goldwyn saw her in a German movie, and thought she could become another Garbo or Dietrich, and he signed her to a Hollywood contract, not knowing she could not speak English! After a year of intensive English studying, Goldwyn cast her as the lead in "Nana", but the movie was not very successful, and Goldwyn made two more movies with her, including this one, but then gave up, and she only made a handful more movies. Important Added Info: Note that this Swedish poster measures 26 1/2" x 39 1/4" and is tri-folded. Condition: very good. There was an 8" tear in the top center of the poster (going from March's hair) that was partially repaired with tape from the back. There are small tears and creases around the edges of the poster.
