The plans started in the late 1920s and were based on the theory of the productive forces that formed part of the ideology of the Communist Party for development of the Soviet economy. The slogan "give 5 years in 4 years" was designed to encourage early completion of the plan. Note that this poster features art of busy factory workers and farmers. The poster had some tiny tears and tiny paper loss on the folds, with some creases and tears around the edges. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking.
