Date Sold 11/26/2023 Sold For: Login or Register to see sold price. a lot of 10 8x10 stills from Betty Furness movies. Betty Furness was a teenage model who became an actress in the 1930s. She appeared in many top 1930s movies, but only in secondary roles. She is best remembered as the TV spokesperson for Westinghouse appliances, especially refrigerators, and later as a panelist on the "What's My Line?" TV show, and for many years as the consumer affairs expert on the NBC TV show "Today". She passed away in 1994 at the age of 78. Note that the items in this lot are mostly from the 1930s. We do not provide a list of these items, but there are images of all of them. Note that this group of stills was consigned to us from the family of Ken Jones, who was an author of books about movies (including books about character actors and western stars). In the course of researching his books, he purchased large numbers of stills on actors he was writing about, and these are some from his collection (and all have information about the actors written in pencil on the back by Mr. Jones himself!).
