Edmonds"; William Faulkner made uncredited contributions to the screenplay; produced by Darryl F. Zanuck; about a couple living in pre-Revolutionary War upstate New York, and how they must adjust to the difficulties of pioneer life, especially the wife, who grew up wealthy and in a big city) starring Claudette Colbert, Henry Fonda, Edna May Oliver (nominated for the Best Supporting Actress Academy Award for this film), Eddie Collins, Dorris Bowdon, John Carradine, Jessie Ralph, Arthur Shields, Robert Lowery, Roger Imhof, Francis Ford, and Ward Bond

Important Added Info: Note that on this movie, 20th Century Fox solely issued a "photolobby" set with glossier color scenes from the movie (there were NO "regular" lobby cards made). We have no idea why 20th Century-Fox did this, but it seems to be something they experimented with in 1939 on certain movies. This is not to be confused with the "color-glos" color lobby cards they issued around this time (on those titles, there was both a color-glos set AND a "regular" set).

Condition: good to very good. The card with Colbert wearing a dress at center has slightly darkened and it has tape behind the corners (not put there for any restoration purpose). Please see our super-sized images to get a good sense of the condition of these photolobbies prior to placing a bid.
