He is considered one of the most commercially successful magicians in history, and has had several television (TV) specials. Best known for his combination of storytelling and illusion, his career of over 40 years has earned him 11 Guinness World Records, a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, a knighthood by the French government, and he has been named a Living Legend by the US Library of Congress. Important Added Info: Note that this still has been personally autographed (signed) by David Copperfield! Also note that many celebrities kept multiple 8" x 10" (or smaller) copies of good publicity images of themselves to sign for fans, and also many memorabilia shops sold such copy stills themselves. While they are not original theater-used stills, they are usually excellent clear copies, with a great shot of that celebrity in their heyday, which, when signed by the celebrity, makes for a wonderful framed picture on any fan's wall! Note that our consignor has been an autograph collector for many decades! He started when he was a teenager, going to stage shows and other places where he could find celebrities, and he would bring photos for them to sign, and over the years, he has continued this in many different locations, and he has an immense collection of signed items (he has also traded some of his for others, but only when he feels he is surely getting genuine ones!), and he has consigned a small portion of his collection to this set of auctions!
