An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Lobby Card (measures 11" x 14") (Learn More)

The Eternal Flame, the 1922 Frank Lloyd silent Napoleonic era romantic love triangle melodrama ("The drama magnificent"; "Personally directed by Frank Lloyd"; "adapted from Honore de Balzac's novel 'La Duchess de Langeais' by Frances Marion") starring Norma Talmadge, Adolphe Menjou (billed under his birth name of "Adolphe Jean Menjou"), Wedgwood Nowell, Conway Tearle, Rosemary Theby, and Kate Lester. Note that although Menjou had been in movies since 1914, he had little success until 1921, and this was one of his first major roles. Also note that this is a "lost" film which means that no surviving copies are thought to exist.
NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography.

Condition: good. There is an unfortunate tack hole, paper loss, and smudges in Talmadge's nose, and another in her neck, and smudges and stains throughout the card. There are some areas of paper loss in the borders.
