An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie 7 3/4" x 10" [20 x 25 cm] Key Book Still (Learn More) The Fast Freight (also known as "Freight Prepaid"), the 1922 James Cruze silent railroad train romantic slapstick comedy starring Roscoe 'Fatty' Arbuckle, Lila Lee, Nigel Barrie, Herbert Standing, and Raymond Hatton. Note that this was the first movie Fatty Arbuckle made after the scandal that ruined his career. Because of the scandal it was banned in the U.S. and not released there at all (although some key book stills exist; it was released in France, and we have auctioned a single French one-panel poster as well as a single Austrian poster)! Also, note that this is a "lost" film which means that no surviving copies are thought to exist. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that this still is a key book still, mounted to a linen backing. Many studios spent extra money to have their most special photos, the key book stills, either backed with linen or printed on a heavy paper, both of which enhanced their durability. They had an extra 1" at the left or top, with punch holes, because of how they were stored. Key book stills are far more rare than regular stills, which has increased their popularity among collectors, since only a few keybooks were manufactured per film, and a key book still is guaranteed to be authentic. Someone trimmed away the extra 1" from the left of the still. Condition: very good. The excess 1" was trimmed off, but otherwise, the still is in pretty nice condition!
