Barton monster horror spoof comedy ("It's a grand New idea for Fun!"; the eighth Universal Frankenstein movie, and this time they added their #1 comedy team to both liven up the series, and to inject comedy; many people fondly remember this as their favorite of the 1940s Frankenstein movies!; "Jeepers! The Creepers are after Bud and Lou!"; "The laughs are MONSTERous! Bud and Lou are in a stew when they tangle with the Titans of Terror!"; "The monsters of menace vs the masters of Mirth!") starring Bud Abbott, Lou Costello (Abbott and Costello), Lon Chaney Jr. ("The Wolf Man played by Lon Chaney"), Bela Lugosi (returning as Dracula after being long absent from the role; "Dracula played by Bela Lugosi"), Glenn Strange (in the title role, playing the Frankenstein monster; "The Monster played by Glenn Strange"), Lenore Aubert, Jane Randolph, Frank Ferguson, Charles Bradstreet, and Vincent Price (in a cute cameo, as the voice of The Invisible Man at the end of the movie!) Important Added Info: Note that this poster was machine folded at one time but has been laying flat for a long time and will be sent rolled in a tube. Condition: good to very good. The poster has extra horizontal foldlines 2" below the regular top fold, and 2" above the regular bottom foldline. There are many creases along both of these foldlines. There is tiny surface separation across the bottom foldline. There are creases, smudges, and tiny tears around the edges of the poster. There are some light scuffs and smudges throughout the image. There is a tape stain in the upper left blank border. Many years ago, someone else put clear tape on the back of the three regular foldlines and on the two extra foldlines, but it has not affected the front at all. While this great poster has clear defects, they are the sort that can be greatly improved with expert restoration. Any talented restorer could paperback this poster, and after removing the tape from the back and touching up the above defects, the poster would look fantastic! Learn More about condition grades
