She was married to Glenn Ford from 1943 to 1969, and they had one child, Peter Ford. Some of her movies include: Broadway Melody of 1936, Thousands Cheer, and Honolulu. She passed away in 1982 at the age of 69. Important Added Info: Note that this letter (which is on Miss Powell's stationery and is entirely handwritten by her, to her "Uncle Wayne") has been personally autographed (signed) by Eleanor Powell! Our consignor is a longtime dealer who acquired this signed item among many other purchases in his inventory, and he does not have a certificate of authenticity, but we believe the signature to likely be authentic.
