Important Added Info: Note that we have only previously auctioned one example of this one-sheet, and that was 20 years ago, when it sold for $632! Other than that one-sheet, we had only previously auctioned a few lobby cards from the first release of this movie. What IS linenbacking? Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good. The poster had tiny tears and tiny bits of paper loss scattered down the vertical fold, with a lesser amount on the horizontal folds. It had pinholes, tears, and small paper loss around the edges and some pinholes scattered in the image. Overall, the poster was in good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was pretty well backed, but you can see signs of the above defects and the restoration of the above defects. Also, we are not sure how this occurred, but when the poster arrived to us, it had a lot of a gritty sand-like residue on the back. We tried to remove it, but a little bit of it still remains, so we will send it to the purchaser between two brown sheets of paper, so that it doesn't come in contact with other posters. Of course, it does not affect the front of the poster, and no doubt could be removed with patience. Learn More about condition grades
