Total Recall, the 1990 Paul Verhoeven science fiction (sci-fi) outer space action adventure dystopian future thriller ("Get ready for the ride of your life."; "How would you know if someone stole your mind?"; "In a high-tech future... man is the only flaw."; "Inspired by the short story 'We Can Remember It For You Wholesale' by Phillip K. Dick") starring Arnold Schwarzenegger, Rachel Ticotin, Sharon Stone, Michael Ironside, Ronny Cox, and Dean Norris. Note that part of the movie is based on "We Can Remember It For You Wholesale", the excellent short story by Phillip K. Dick (it is the clever beginning part of the movie, and the boring end of the movie is not based on Dick's writings!).
