An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded Belgian Movie Poster (measures 16 1/4" x 20" [41 x 51 cm]) (Learn More) The Bride Came C.O.D., the classic 1941 William Keighley screwball romantic kidnapped heiress comedy ("From the Story by Kenneth Earl and M.M. Musselman"; "James Cagney and Bette Davis have the time of their lives in the hit of their lives"; one of only two movies these two great stars made together, and it is a shame, for they had wonderful chemistry; this is the movie where Bette Davis delivers the great line, "Mustard!") starring James Cagney, Bette Davis, Stuart Erwin, William Frawley, Eugene Pallette, Jack Carson, George Tobias, and Harry Davenport. Sadly, this was only the second time Cagney and Davis worked together. This is a very funny and entertaining movie, and it is clear they had great chemistry! Important Added Info: Note that this poster has been trimmed and it now measures 16 1/4" x 20" [41 x 51 cm], with the new blank top added to the top (see below) the height of the poster is 22 /14". Also note that this poster was folded at one time but has been laying flat for a long time and will be sent rolled in a tube. Condition: good to very good. The poster originally had a blank top that was neatly trimmed off (this is commonly done with Belgian posters, similar to how the blank top is trimmed off of U.S. window cards) and a new blank top has been glued to the top in its place. There are minor creases scattered throughout the poster (mostly around the edges) and there area few small tears around the edges.
