King of the Mounties, the 1942 William Witney World War II (WWII) Canada Canadian Royal Mounted Police Mountie military action adventure serial ("A Republic Serial in 12 Chapters"; loosely "Based on Zane Grey's 'King of the Royal Mounted'"; about the Mounties in Canada helping the inventor of a new plane detector keep it out of Nazi and Japanese hands during World War II; the Japanese kill the inventor, but his pretty young daughter helps to save the invention, and finds romance too!) starring Allan 'Rocky' Lane (in the title role as Sgt. Condition: fair. The poster is in much lesser condition. There are several defects scattered along the edges and foldlines/crossfolds and there are several significant areas of foldline and/or crossfold separation. Many of the defects have been repaired with tape from the back (especially in the upper horizontal fold of the poster and along the center horizontal fold). There is surface paper loss along portions of the center horizontal fold and the poster is somewhat fragile. Certainly a competent restorer could repair the defects described above, but please bear in mind its significant defects and cost of restoration before placing a bid.
