An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Title Lobby Card (LC TC; measures 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm]) (Learn More)

Libeled Lady, the 1936 Jack Conway romantic love triangle newspaper journalism comedy (nominated for the Best Picture Academy Award; an extremely complicated story of an heiress, played by Myrna Loy, who sues a newspaper for libel, and the editor, played by Tracy, is afraid he will lose, so he hires Powell to catch Loy in a compromising situation with the help of his girlfriend, played by Harlow, who will instead temporarily marry Powell to make the scheme work, but of course, Powell and Loy end up actually falling in love, and everything works out in the end) starring Jean Harlow, William Powell, Myrna Loy, Spencer Tracy, Walter Connolly, and Inez Palange (uncredited as the fortune teller). Can anyone imagine today's studios making a movie with so many top level stars? It is extremely rare to see three top stars in any movie, but this movie had four of the all-time greatest, and it is a thoroughly enjoyable movie!

Important Added Info: Note that we have a scan of both the front and the back of this lobby card, which should greatly help you see what defects it has.

Condition: fine. Note that this lobby card is in excellent condition and is completely unrestored and there is not a single piece of tape on either the front or back of the card! The new owner of this card will find it hard to believe that the card was not recently created, but we assure you it is 100% original from 1936, even though it has survived so amazingly well!
