Buy War Savings Stamps, the 1917 U.S. World War I (WWI) War Bonds poster ("Boys and girls! You can help your Uncle Sam Win the War"; "Save your quarters"; "W.S.S. War Saving Stamps issued by the United States Government") encouraging children to support the war effort. Note that this poster features James Montgomery Flagg art of Uncle Sam carrying a girl as a boy looks up to him!

Important Added Info: Note that this wonderful poster was printed in two different sizes, and we have only previously auctioned one example of each size. This is one of those posters that has been reconsigned to us, so this is still the only example of the 20x30 version we have ever auctioned! Also note that this poster was never folded and will be sent rolled in a tube.

Condition: very good. The poster was never folded. It has darkened, except for a tiny bit around the edges, where it was likely matted. It has some small tears in the borders. Other than the above, it is in pretty nice condition!
