An Undated (probably late 1940s) Re-Release Vintage Theatrical Unfolded Italian Photobusta Movie Poster (13x18 pbusta; measures 13 1/4" x 18 3/4") (Learn More) The Trail of the Lonesome Pine, the 1936 Henry Hathaway Appalachian outdoors backwoods romantic love triangle family feud melodrama ("Actually filmed outdoors in Technicolor"; "Based on John Fox, Jr.'s Famous Novel"; about a railroad engineer sent to the Blue Ridge Mountains of Kentucky, and he has problems with two feuding families, and falls for a hillbilly girl, but she has a cousin she's set to marry) starring Sylvia Sidney, Fred MacMurray, Henry Fonda, Fred Stone, Nigel Bruce, Beulah Bondi, Robert Barrat, George 'Spanky' McFarland (billed as "Spanky McFarland"), and Fuzzy Knight. Note that there is a title song for this movie that is played during it, and it was memorably sang (with lyrics) by Laurel and Hardy in their great movie, Way Out West, made a year after this movie!
