Are You Doing Your Duty To-Day?, the 1915 English World War I (WWI) Home Front military recruitment poster ("1805 'England expects' 1915") encouraging men to enlist, and featuring artwork of Admiral Horatio Nelson. "England Expects" refers to Nelson's signal just prior to the commencement of the 1805 Battle of Trafalgar, which was "England expects that every man will do his duty".

Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good to very good. The poster was never folded. It had a long crease or tear down the middle left and a few other partial vertical creases and some scuffs and smudges scattered throughout the image. It had a long horizontal tear or crease in the middle left that extended to the vertical crease or tear mentioned above. It had a triangular strip of paper loss in the top 8" of the left black border. Overall, the poster was in good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was pretty well backed, but you can see signs of the above defects and the restoration of the above defects.
