Artist: S. Neil Fujita Important Added Info: Please notice that there is something unusual about this poster. We have seen examples of international and regular posters from this movie that have a LPIU union logo, while this poster has a GAU union logo. Since the movie was first released in March of 1972, and since the GAU was not formed until September of 1972, this poster would have been printed in September of 1972 or later. This makes perfect sense, since the movie was not released in Europe and around the world until September and October of 1972 and was in continuous release for some time. However, please do not bid on this poster if you are wanting the version with the LPIU union logo, as this poster has the GAU union logo! Also note that this poster has been trimmed and it now measures 27" x 39" [69 x 99 cm]. What IS linenbacking? Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good to very good. The poster was trimmed to 27" x 39" and it had some tiny creases and scuffs on the bottom quarter of the vertical fold and in the bottom horizontal fold, and a lesser amount of wear on the other folds. It had a few smudges in the solid black areas. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking. The restorer backed the poster "in the European style", meaning that they did not do restoration to the defects described above. Learn More about condition grades
