Touch of Evil, the classic 1958 Orson Welles Mexico drugs crooked policeman revenge crime film noir thriller ("The story of the strangest vengeance ever planned!"; based on the novel 'Badge of Evil' by Whit Masterson) starring Charlton Heston, Janet Leigh, Orson Welles, Joseph Calleia, Akim Tamiroff, Marlene Dietrich ("She felt his touch - once, and never forgot it!"), Zsa Zsa Gabor (Dietrich & Gabor billed as "'With Guest Stars' Marlene Dietrich, Zsa Zsa Gabor"), Joanna Moore, Akim Tamiroff, Valentin de Vargas, and Victor Millan. Note that this movie was re-released in 1998, finally re-edited to satisfy the changes Orson Welles requested in a memo he wrote to the studio right after its first release when he found out the film had been cut. It took 40 years, but Welles' original vision was mostly restored.

Condition: good. The poster is somewhat brittle and there is separation along the top quarter of the vertical fold, at the crossfolds, and some of the ends of the foldlines (some repaired with tape from the back). There are several pairs of staple holes scattered throughout the poster with some torn or enlarged from rough removal and there are some smudges and minor creases throughout. Clearly, the poster has significant defects but its colors are still pretty vibrant and after linenbacking by a top professional, the poster will look fantastic (although I can imagine many collectors would be happy with this great poster as it is!).
