An Original Vintage Unfolded World War II Poster (measures 9" x 12 3/4" [23 x 32 cm]) (Learn More)

WAAC (Women's Army Auxiliary Corps), the 1943 U.S. World War II (WWII) recruitment poster ("This is my war too!"; "United States Army") encouraging women to join WAAC, and featuring Dan V. Smith art of a woman in uniform standing in front of the American flag. Note that this poster was produced in at least two sizes. One measures 9" x 12 1/2", and the other measures 25" x 38".

Artist: Dan V. Smith

Condition: good to very good. The poster was never folded. There is an Army recruitment ink pad stamp at upper and lower right (see our image). It has a library ink pad stamp on back at lower right that very slightly bleeds through to the front. It is otherwise in pretty nice condition.
