Allen Ginsberg was a famous poet and occasional actor from the 1940s to the 1990s. Ginsberg wrote the highly controversial poem "Howl", and is considered one of the pioneers of the Beat Generation. Some of his other works include: Kaddish and Other Poems, Iron Horse, and Deliberate Prose. He passed away in 1997 at the age of 70.
