An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded Chapter #2 (Mechanical Executioner) One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 27" x 41" [69 x 104 cm]) (Learn More)

Captain America, the 1944 Elmer Clifton & John English Marvel Comics (at the time known as "Atlas Comics"!) comic book superhero crime fighting fantasy serial ("Based on the Character appearing in Captain America Comics"; "A Republic Serial in 15 Chapters") starring Dick Purcell (in the title role as Captain America; he died just a few months after shooting finished), Lorna Gray, Lionel Atwill, Charles Trowbridge, George J. Lewis, and John Hamilton. Note that this was the very first Marvel Comics character to be turned into a movie, and we don't know how faithful the adaptation was (in the movie, Captain America uses a gun, and we don't remember him ever doing that in the comics!).
NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography.
If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know.
Important Added Info: Note that we have never before auctioned this chapter 2 one-sheet! And we have only auctioned a total of five one-sheets from other chapters, and the last one we auctioned was 11 years ago!

Condition: good to very good. The poster was folded in half an extra time and it has small separation at the crossfolds with a piece of tape on the back of each. It has some small tears and tiny paper loss in the vertical foldline in between the middle crossfold and bottom crossfold. It has two small pieces of tape on the back of the right border and some creases in the right half of the bottom fold. It has small tears in the lower part of the right blank border. After a simple linenbacking the poster will display wonderfully!
