An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Title Lobby Card (LC TC; measures 9" x 12 1/4" [23 x 31 cm]) (Learn More) The Dead Man's Hand, the 1919 Francis J. Grandon silent cowboy western short (written "by Julian Johnson") starring Miss Texas Guinan ("The female Bill Hart of the Screen"). If anyone knows more about this movie, please e-mail us and we will post it here. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that if you click on Texas Guinan's credit above, you learn about the posters we have seen for her movies (including the stock posters created in the late 1920s for re-releases of her shorts). We have sold a couple of those stock posters, BUT WE HAVE NEVER SEEN AN ORIGINAL RELEASE PIECE OF MOVIE PAPER FROM A TEXAS GUINAN SHORT! This title card from "The Dead Man's Hand" is the only original release Texas Guinan lobby card we have ever seen. Also note that this lobby card has been trimmed and it now measures 9" x 12 1/4" [23 x 31 cm]. Condition: good. All of the blank borders of the card were neatly trimmed off, with the trimming on the left and top very slightly entering into the edge of the top credit. There are four tiny areas of surface paper loss on the back of each corner where the card was once attached to a mat, and clear tape on the back of the center of the card (but it was not put there for any restoration purpose). There are pinholes in the corners and the card has darkened somewhat. Learn More about condition grades
