An Autographed 8" x 10" [20 x 25 cm] REPRODUCTION Still (Learn More) William 'Billy' Benedict was an actor from the 1930s to the 1970s. He was in many of the Bowery Boys movies as "Whitey". Some of his movies include: Riders of the Pony Express, Bowery Battalion and Fighting Fools. He passed away in 1999 at the age of 82. Important Added Info: Note that this REPRODUCTION still has been personally autographed (signed) by William Benedict! Also note that many celebrities kept multiple 8" x 10" (or smaller) copies of good publicity images of themselves to sign for fans, and also many memorabilia shops sold such copy stills themselves. While they are not original theater-used stills, they are usually excellent clear copies, with a great shot of that celebrity in their heyday, which, when signed by the celebrity, makes for a wonderful framed picture on any fan's wall! The consignor of this autographed item (and a number of other signed items in this auction) is a longtime autograph collector who does not have a Certificate of Authenticity (COA) for this item, but he feels certain it is genuine.
