Also included is a booklet with 24 pages and the original box (measures 3" x 5 1/2") (Learn More) The Big Bad Wolf (released in England as "The Big Bad Wolf and Little Red Riding Hood"), the 1934 Burt Gillett Walt Disney Silly Symphonies animated animation cartoon musical comedy short featuring the voices of Billy Bletcher (in the title role as Big Bad Wolf), Dorothy Compton, Mary Moder, Sara Berner (as Little Red Riding Hood), and Pinto Colvig NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that this is a wonderful set of four 1 1/2" x 5 1/4" English glass slides for this 1934 Mickey Mouse cartoon. They come in a printed box along with a 24-page booklet telling all about the cartoon, and the box, which is designed to hold the four slides in two groups of two side by side, has a wonderful color front cover with a scene of Little Red Riding Hood and the Wolf, and a wonderful color back cover with a scene of the little pig and the Big Bad Wolf, and both sides have the same great border art of Mickey Mouse with pie-cut eyes standing by a glass lantern projector! We previously auctioned a similar set of 4 English glass slides, which had "produced with permission of WALTER E. DISNEY", which makes us pretty certain that set was from 1930 or extremely soon afterwards. This set is from 1934. The slides were made by Ensign Ltd of London "By arrangement with Walt Disney Mickey Mouse, Ltd.". We are also currently auctioning a wonderful set of two English glass slides from Santa's Workshop in a separate auction. Condition: very good to fine. The booklet has rust staining at the spine where there is a staple. The lid of the box has separated on one side. The four slides are in very nice condition (see our images, and note that we both photographed and scanned each of the four glass slides that have four images each, so don't be confused because there are two images of each one)!
