An Original Vintage Star Players Collector Plate (measures 9" x 9" [23 x 23 cm]) (Learn More)

Carlyle Blackwell was an actor from the 1910s to the 1930s. Some of his movies include: The Last Chapter, Bulldog Drummond (the very first film adaptation of the character, and in the title role!), and Bedrock. He passed away in 1955 at the age of 71.

Important Added Info: Note that this plate was made by the "Star Players Photo Co." sometime in the 1920s. The line features images of silent actors of the day and facsimile signatures below the image. If anyone knows more about them, please e-mail us and we will post it here.

Condition: very good. There are cracks in the fired glazed surface ("craze lines"), typical of a vintage collector plate that is nearly 100 years old. The collector plate is otherwise in pretty nice condition (see our image).
