McLeod college football sports mistaken identity slapstick comedy ("The 4 Marx Brothers"; Groucho is the dean of a college, and he tries to hire two "ringers", professional football players, to help the college win their big game, but he mistakenly hires Harpo and Chico instead, and meanwhile, Zeppo is Groucho's son, who is busy romancing the "college widow", memorably played by Thelma Todd) starring the Marx Brothers (Groucho, Harpo, Chico, and Zeppo), Thelma Todd, David Landau, Nat Pendleton, Robert Greig, Florine McKinney, and Jim Pierce NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that if this card was untrimmed, it would sell for a great deal of money! Since the most important part of the image and a good part of the title is present, it would certainly be worth it to have the missing area of the card recreated! Also note that we have been consigned a collection of early lobby cards that all were heavily trimmed (some with just the borders trimmed, but others trimmed to 8" x 10"). They are all from very rare titles, and certainly, they could be restored (or displayed as they are). One would obviously prefer finding an untrimmed example of this card, but one might wait a VERY long time to find that untrimmed example, but bear in mind this significant defect before bidding on this card, which has been trimmed and it now measures 8" x 10" [20 x 25 cm]. Also note that we have a scan of both the front and the back of this lobby card, which should greatly help you see what defects it has. Condition: fair. The card has been heavily trimmed to 8" x 10", but otherwise, the card is in nice condition!
