Calvert, Betty Caldwell, and George Kuwa (billed as "Charlie Chan"). Note that this was the absolute first movie ever to have Charlie Chan in it, and he proved so popular that the character went on to appear in 46 more movies over a span of many years, and played by many different actors. Note that this is a "lost" film, which means that no surviving copies are thought to exist. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that glass slides were designed to be put in a special projector that would project the image onto a movie screen (they use exactly the same concept as 35mm slides). We have taken a digital photo of each that shows the general condition of the overall slide and holder, and we have also made a digital scan that shows the glass image well, but does not show the holder (except as a dark outline). Condition: very good. There is slight smudging on the glass (it is not very distracting, and it could likely be cleaned). The cardboard holder has staining around the staples. Otherwise, the slide is in pretty nice condition! Learn More about condition grades
