Newmeyer silent mystery thriller comedy ("Cuckoo cuckoo cuckoo"; "M-e-o-w"; "George M. Cohan's greatest comedy"; "From the novel by Earl Derr Biggers"; based on the play by George M. Cohan; a clever story of a writer who bets a friend that he can complete his novel within 24 hours, and he goes to a secluded inn to be sure to have peace and quiet, but of course, there are all kinds of goings on at the inn, plus he meets a beautiful young woman as well!) starring Douglas MacLean, Edith Roberts, Anders Randolf, Crauford Kent, and Ned Sparks. Note that this is a "lost" film which means that no surviving copies are thought to exist. Also note that this was a very popular George M. Cohan play that was filmed many times in the 1910s through the 1930s. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that we have never before auctioned these three great lobby cards! Condition: very good. The cards have some tiny brown dot stains in just a few portions of the edges.
