Even the life of another!"; "What kind of woman can you be... with no standards but your own desires!"; "Ben Ames Williams' dramatic best-seller of a woman who committed the deadliest of the seven deadly sins!"; "Based on the Novel by Ben Ames Williams"; about a man who marries a beautiful woman, but she proves to be not only insanely jealous, but homicidal as well!) starring Gene Tierney (nominated for the Best Actress Academy Award for this film), Cornel Wilde, Jeanne Crain, Vincent Price, Mary Philips, Ray Collins, Gene Lockhart, Reed Hadley, Darryl Hickman, Chill Wills, and Kay Riley (in an uncredited role as "Danny's Nurse") NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Condition: very good. The poster was never folded. It had some pinholes, creases, and tears around the edges, a few faint smudges scattered throughout the poster (including a few in the stars' faces), and some faint water staining in the middle right of the poster, extending into the edge of Tierney's cheek. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking. The restorer linenbacked the poster "in the European style", meaning that they did not do restoration to the defects described above, but they are really not at all distracting (and any restorer could easily touch them up without re-backing the poster). I think the poster displays really well just as it is, and I can't imagine a collector who would not enjoy having this beautiful poster displayed on their wall! Learn More about condition grades
