An Original Vintage Theatrical Window Card Stage Show Poster (measures 22" x 28") (Learn More)

an undated (probably 1940s) stage show, How a Woman Should Undress Before Her Husband ("CLASSIC on the Stage in Person Claire Powell demonstrating 'How a Woman Should Undress Before Her Husband'"; "also regular screen program one day only Tues., March 30"). Note that, this is surely a rip-off (or homage, if you prefer!) of the classic 1937 short movie "How to Undress in Front of Your Husband", which starred Elaine Barrymore, John Barrymore's last wife, who tried to publicize on her famous husband's name. We have never seen or heard of any other poster with this stage show advertised on it! If anyone knows more about this poster, please contact us and we will post it here.

Important Added Info: Note that this window card will need to be sent in a very large flat package that measures approximately 24" x 30" x 1" high, so please bear the shipping costs of this very large package in mind BEFORE you place a bid!

Condition: fair. There were two long tears in the left and right of the bottom border and they were crudely repaired with tape from the back (the tear in the left of the bottom border extends into the girl's legs and to the left border, and caused that entire piece to be separated from the rest of the poster before it was taped back on from the reverse. There are other smaller tears and nail holes around the edges of the card and there are many stains and scuffs throughout the card. There is paper loss in the left of the bottom border. If I owned this classically campy poster, I would surely have it professionally restored and paperbacked!
