An Original 1961 Vintage Theatrical Folded One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 28" x 44" [71 x 112 cm]) (Learn More) A Bout de Souffle (released in the U.S. in 1961 as "Breathless"), the classic 1960 Jean-Luc Godard French New Wave romantic gangster crime thriller (about a small time thief who steals a car and murders a policeman, and he tries to persuade his beautiful American journalism student girlfriend to run away to Italy with him, but she has misgivings) starring Jean Seberg, Jean-Paul Belmondo, Daniel Boulanger, Jean-Pierre Melville, Henri-Jacques Huet, Liliane David, Claude Mansard, and Van Doude. Note that this movie, together with Francois Truffaut's "Les quatre cents coups" began the French "New Wave", which revolutionized film-making, not only in France, but the world over! Condition: good. The poster has pinholes (some are torn or enlarged due to rough removal), smudges, creases and some other defects around the edges, including edge separation in the ends of the upper horizontal fold. The poster was folded in half an extra time resulting in a light vertical foldline at left and right and there are a few other defects that can be clearly seen in our super-sized image.
